Below are some common questions we're often asked about our delivery service:

Q – Do I have to be in when the delivery arrives?
A – Generally, no. If our delivery driver can gain access to the oil tank, there is no need for you to be at home. However, if larger volumes are being delivered it’s standard for our drivers to require a signature.

Our drivers take great pride in delivering the fuel efficiently and carefully and follow strict guidelines to maintain the highest possible service standards.

Q – How do I know what you have delivered?
A – All of our deliveries are precisely metered. A delivery slip outlining the type of fuel and exact volume delivered will be left for you by the driver.

Our meters are also regularly checked by Trading Standards and give an accurate record of the amount of fuel delivered.

Q – What is the minimum amount you can deliver?
A – Bayford can deliver between 500 and 500,000 litres to different locations across the region each day. We encourage all our customers to order larger quantities as this helps us to plan our deliveries more efficiently and is more cost-effective.

This approach is also best for the environment as it reduces the miles travelled.
